What we collect

When you use our contact form, we collect your full name, company, work email address and message. Your telephone number is optional. Please avoid including sensitive personal information or confidential client data in your enquiry.

These details come directly from you. The required fields help us understand and respond to your enquiry. If you prefer not to use the form, you can email or telephone us instead.

Our hosting and security providers may also process technical information, including IP addresses, browser and device information, and requests to the website, to deliver and protect the service.

Why we use your information

We use your information to respond to enquiries, discuss your requirements, manage any resulting working relationship and protect the website against spam and abuse. Depending on the purpose, processing is necessary to take steps towards an engagement at your request, perform an agreement, pursue legitimate business and security interests, or comply with the law. Where consent is required, we will ask for it.

Submitting an enquiry does not sign you up to a newsletter. We do not sell your personal information or use the form to make automated decisions about you.

Service providers and sharing

The website is hosted by Vercel. Contact enquiries are sent through Resend to our Google Workspace mailbox. The website does not maintain a separate enquiry database; copies may remain in email systems and provider logs.

We use Google reCAPTCHA to help distinguish genuine enquiries from automated abuse. It may process device, browser and interaction information and use cookies or similar technologies. Its use is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

We share information with people and providers who need it to handle your enquiry or provide these services, and where disclosure is required by law. The website currently has no advertising trackers or marketing analytics. Fonts and brand images are served from our own website.

Processing outside South Africa

Our providers may process information outside South Africa. Resend’s website sending domain is configured in its Ireland region; other providers may process information in additional countries. Transfers must meet the applicable requirements of South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act, including appropriate protection through law, binding agreements or another permitted basis.

Retention and security

We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to respond to your enquiry, manage a working relationship, comply with legal obligations or resolve a dispute. Provider logs may follow separate retention periods. Information that is no longer needed should be deleted or de-identified.

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect personal information, including encrypted website connections and server-side handling of contact-service credentials. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you can ask to access or correct your personal information, request deletion, or object to processing. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
